Akari
Equipped with a turntable, enabling the transfer of cables to cable-laying ships.
“Akari” is a barge equipped with a turntable.
“Akari” loads cables at the factory, sails to the port where the cable-laying ship is located, and transships the cables from “Akari” to the cable-laying ship on-site, enabling the cable-laying ship to perform continuous construction.
The total weight of the cables for a single project may exceed the capacity of the cable-laying ship. In that case, it eliminates the need for the cable-laying ship to sail back to the factory, allowing for the supply of cables from the factory directly to the laying area.

The process of transferring cables from “Akari” to another cable-laying ship.
It involves the transfer of cables from the turntable on “Akari” through a tensioner and then onto another cable-laying ship, where it is wound onto the turntable through its tensioner.
During the transfer, “Akari” can also load other equipment besides cables, allowing for the supply of specialized equipment to the cable-laying ship tailored to the cables.
